Another down fall of web based system is it will require certain plug-ins for certain browsers to display the information properly. And worst of all, the system will look slightly different from browser to browser because of the incompatibilities between the browser manufactures. W3C or the internet council is trying to make a universal standard for all web browsers to follow, but that is still in the process, and may be many years away from realization.
